At Dero Meal Prep, every meal is prepared fresh in a licensed commercial kitchen and delivered directly to you. To ensure the best experience and your safety, please follow the guidelines below.


Refrigeration & Storage

  • Refrigerate your meals immediately upon delivery or pickup. Do not leave meals unrefrigerated for more than 4 hours.
  • All meals should be stored at or below 40°F (4°C).
  • Consume all meals by the expiration date listed on your packaging.
  • Do not consume any meal that appears spoiled, has an off odor, or has exceeded the expiration date on your packaging.
  • Dero Meal Prep is not responsible for spoilage resulting from improper storage or handling after delivery or pickup.

Reheating Instructions

Microwave (recommended):
Remove lid. Microwave for 1–3 minutes (heating times may vary based on microwave wattage). Heat until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Oven:
Remove meal from plastic container and transfer to an oven-safe dish. Cover with foil and heat at 325°F (163°C) for 10–15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Never reheat a meal more than once.


Expiration Date

Every meal is labeled with an expiration date. Do not consume meals past the date listed on your packaging.


Consumer Advisory

All proteins served by Dero Meal Prep are cooked to USDA-recommended minimum internal temperatures. The following standards are followed in our kitchen:

  • Chicken: minimum 165°F (74°C)
  • Pork: minimum 145°F (63°C) with a 3-minute rest
  • Ground Beef: minimum 160°F (71°C)
  • Whole Muscle Beef (steak): minimum 145°F (63°C) with a 3-minute rest
  • Eggs: fully cooked through baking or direct heat to a minimum of 160°F (71°C)

Individuals who are pregnant, elderly, immunocompromised, or have underlying health conditions should consult a physician before consuming any prepared food product.
